A Toast to New Beginnings...

How is it possible that so many days have passed? Life zooms by, doesn't it? Another summer bleeding into another fall, then on to winter. And here we are...

It's snowing again today. We had another record this season here in Madison, WI - a record amount of snow in December. But it's tapered off and nothing near to what we had last year. (So far, so good anyway).

For those of you who might have asked, my friend did not start his business. A frenzy of information and connections that led nowhere, in the end. Not the right time, not the right climate. Strangely, though, beautifully, it's led me to other experiences, to another friend starting her business. Being a firm believer in the idea tha
t everything happens exactly as it should in its perfect time and proper moment, I blessed the path that I had followed and reminded myself that it would lead to where I was supposed to be. (I know I sound peaceful now, but I assure you, the message was not quite so calmly accepted at the time...).

So now I have a new, different project, interesting and affirming. And I am writing again - more intently and with distinct purpose. I have also gathered around me a group of friends and writers whom I trust and who are helping me with my current manuscript. I feel my goal of being published getting closer.

And other opportunities, too. For myself and my
family. I feel an energy around us that offers hope and excitement. An interesting, amazing time. Even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty, there is an air of change and renaissance. Can you feel it?

And as for those starcards? The time may be soon. Keep an eye out...

Namaste...
