Wish Upon A Star Card

I am inspired!
I have recently come into the habit of asking people I know and meet, "What is your greatest wish?"; "What would you love to do?"; "What would you do if you simply could not fail?"
Some of the responses are funny -- "I would be a product developer for Ben & Jerry's!" Yum!
Some thought provoking -- "I would make sure children everywhere were safe..." Amen.
Some tragically beautiful -- "I would take back the argument I had with my daughter the day she died, and tell her one more time how much I love her." (There are no words...)
I was touched some time ago when my mother told me she would love to have a pottery studio in her house, yet she's never taken a lesson!
We are all busy; we all have too much to do and so very little time, it seems. But sometimes, if we take the time to consider what we'd really love to do, and concentrate on it for a bit, it's the slightest crack into a whole new world of possibilities, and once we let that tiny bit of light in, obstacle after obstacle disappears... Articulating the dream is like tilling the soil, allowing seeds to grow once you plant them...
So, I invite you to DREAM, to consider for a bit the vast universe of possibilities.
Then, consider what you would love to do, change, or make happen.
(Thoughts to Ponder: What do you see? How do you see it? Are there certain symbols you are drawn to? Do you have unfulfilled childhood wishes you could satisfy? What holds you back, or what do you need? Fear/Courage...Pain/Healing...Lack/Abundance...Unworthiness/Success/...)
And finally, make a visual, creative, fun -- or whatever adjective you prefer -- representation of it (or them), on a postcard (or cards). Stamp and send to 5 Thorn Lane, Madison, WI 53711.
Consider this a group art project, the first step toward envisioning what you want/love/dream of/wish for... and as you put forth your talent and energy into the universe, take a moment to bless all the dreams of everyone else participating.
If you want to, sign your card (first names only, please), but anonymity is fine.
It's Your Dream & Your Star Card -- do what feels right!
